Design project for an automobile exhibition at a multifunctional dealership center and redevelopment of a long-term construction site in Moscow

The "Mercedes-Benz Constellation" project is an architectural and lighting transformation of space, where the innovation of the automotive brand meets the infinity of the cosmos. The unique perforated façade of the building, whose pattern evokes the cross-section of modern Mercedes-Benz headlights, becomes a giant canvas for light.
Sunlight by day and intelligent dynamic backlighting by evening penetrate through thousands of openings, projecting intricate, ever-changing patterns onto the floors and walls. This effect creates the illusion of being inside a stellar nebula or a scattering of constellations floating in space.
An interactive component allows visitors to become co-authors of the installation via the museum's mobile app, choosing the color palette of the lighting.

The goal of the project is to demonstrate how automotive technology extends beyond its conventional boundaries, inspiring bold architectural solutions and transforming the building into a symbol of dialogue between art, science, and design.

The main art object of the exhibition is a metal installation that conceals the stairwell and elevator cores. It becomes part of the artistic concept. Color-changing lighting glides across the facets of the lamellas, creating a shimmering effect. This intensifies the sensation of kinetics, movement, and high-tech aesthetics, as if the entire architecture is "alive" and participating in a unified light performance. The exhibition space continues to tell the brand's story through design, materials, and the play of light, immersing visitors in the cosmic-technological universe of Mercedes-Benz.
